The right to act in accordance with conscience

Imagine if Quebec’s euthanasia legislation, the "End of Life Care Act", was called the "End of Life Killing Act". Professor Margaret Somerville is Professor of Bioethics at the School of Medicine at the University of Notre Dame, Australia. She plays an active role in the development of applied ethics, with a particular focus on the study of wider ethical and legal aspects of medicine and science.
